Adobe released Security bulletin mentioning that vulnerabilities are found in Adobe flash player 10.0.32.18 and earlier versions.These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and allows an attacker to take control of affected system. Adobe recommends all users to update their flash player to Flash Player version 10.0.42.34 .

Though Mozilla plugin check will show the plug-ins update status installed in Firefox, but presently it is showing flash player status as up to date. Users can install latest flash player version for Firefox browser for IE,and other browsers visit Flash player download center page and follow the instructions on the screen.

Adobe also recommends user to update from Adobe AIR 1.5.2 to ADOBE AIR version 1.5.3.

Generally both Windows Vista and Windows 7 supports formatting USB drives in NTFS format, Where XP won’t. In Windows XP, we have the options to format USB drive in FAT and FAT 32 formats only. But NTFS file system offers more security, better performance and supports larger drives. We can format pen drive in NTFS format in a simple way.

By Default in Windows XP, writing cache for USB drives will be disabled which will be useful to remove the pen drive without clicking safely remove hardware icon. NTFS file system will appear for USB drive in Windows XP, if we enable write caching for better disk performance. It is common all users remove pen drive by clicking safely remove hardware icon, by enabling this option they have to continue to do that routine as well.

Insert your Pen drive, right click on it select properties> Hardware>  in properties select USB Flash drive which appears below your hard drive. After selecting the USB drive, click properties> Policies tab and select or enable optimize for performance feature and click two time OK to save changes.

Now in Windows Explorer, right click on USB drive  click Format, now you can observe NTFS file system along with FAT and FAT32 file systems to format USB drive.

If you participated in a Wave or other contact joins you to Wave, those Wave updates keep appearing in your inbox when they are get updated. Also If you searched for public waves with:public in Google Wave those updates keep reaches top of your inbox which makes you annoy and your inbox gets cluttered.

If you are a newbie to Google Wave, you can still make your Google Wave inbox clutter free. In Google Wave, in the search panel there are Follow, Unfollow, archive , Inbox,Spam , Read, Unread , Trash, Move to buttons available.

Unfollow Waves: If you do not want to get update notifications of wave in your inbox, select that wave and click unfollow it, those wave update notifications will not appear in your inbox again. But if you search for it, that wave updates will  appear with unfollowed grey label in the inbox. To unfollow multiple waves, select several the waves in search panel with shift key and click unfollow button. If unknown contacts adds to you to a particular wave using unfollow will help those update notifications not to appear in your inbox.

Archive Waves: All users familiar to archive feature in Gmail, similarly here if you do not want any wave to appear in your inbox,  if you click Archive button that wave will be removed temporarily from inbox. You can still find it by searching for that wave and if anyone updates archive wave those wave updates appears in your inbox. To archive multiple waves select several waves by pressing shift key and click archive button to move them out of inbox. These archived can be found by clicking All in Navigation panel.

Similarly you can use Trash button to delete unwanted waves from inbox. In Google Wave, if any wave keep showing in bold, select that wave and click as read.

Having Microsoft released the Bing Bar to use their search and access other features you may have installed it. If you are not satisfied with Bing Bar or may be due to occupying too much space on browser then you can uninstall Bing Bar and use Google Toolbar if you wish.

Since there are lot of advantages of Google Toolbar, using both Google Toolbar and Bing Bar will do no harm. But they will occupy more space. You can uninstall Bing Bar from your computer without affecting IE and Firefox functionality or performance.

To uninstall Bing Bar from your computer

1.Close IE and Firefox browsers.

2. Click Start menu >Settings >Control Panel >click Add\Remove programs

3. Select Bing Bar from the list of installed programs shown and click Remove to uninstall Bing Bar.

Microsoft released Bing toolbar Bing Bar for IE and Firefox. Bing Bar similar to Google Toolbar allows to search for information access news, videos,  images,  access to hotmail with hotmail button and autofill button to auto fill forms.

Bing Bar features

1. Search the web , access news, videos, images, music, etc.

2. Instant access to Hotmail account with hotmail button added in the Bing Bar.

3. Autofill forms automatically that is whenever you need to fill same information again on forms, you can use Autofill button to fill the forms for you.

4. Safety Center which is integrated into Bing Bar checks for pop up blocker, phishing protection features and shows safety level protection for your computer with Green or Red color security icon.

All users using pirated copy of Windows are familiar to Windows Genuine Advantage notifications about Windows not being genuine. I already covered fix to that.
